Josh passed away on Jan. 24, 2011. He will be missed.
If music — especially live music — is about anything, it’s about community. And community’s about working
through the blues. Josh Worley was a driver with UPS of Greenville. At the end of June, 2009 he experienced
some stomach pain, and learned he had stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He and his wife have two young sons. Josh was in a lot
of pain, so his family needed to stay home and care for him. And that’s where the community came in. Leave it to the
area’s UPS drivers and Mac Arnold & Plate Full O' Blues, Marvin King’s Blues Revival and other members of the
blues community to rally round this brave family during their time of need. All proceeds from the benefit went to the
Worleys to help take away their blues.
